If alpaca ownership appeals to you, the first stop could be agistment - if you don't currently own any land, or wish to! In the case of owning females particularly, the ability to watch over them as they near their due date, can pose a problem, easily overcome - by keeping your alpacas with us. This can remove all of the worry associated with the start up phase of your herd.

 

Agistment can provide a "learning period" for you to feel comfortable with alpaca handling and husbandry. Since alpacas cannot be kept on their own, agisting can also enable your herd to begin with a single alpaca, which will be relaxed in one of our friendly groups relevant to his or her age.
