I have been an enthusiastic photographer for many years starting with a keen interest in wildlife and travel photography. I have recently been shortlisted for a national wildlife photographic competition and continue to develop my skills in the areas of digital photography and image editing. I was chosen to photograph the South of England Show in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and also the British Alpaca Futurity in 2008, 2009 and 2010. Pictures from these events can be seen on this page plus images used as front covers of Alpaca World. I also was joint winner of the Beautiful Cria competition (in Alpaca World) 2006 and runner-up in 2007 before deciding to let others have the fun of winning!
Alpacas are hugely photogenic, but actually quite difficult to photograph well. To get great and interesting photographs of alpacas involves knowledge, technique, equipment and the eye for a stunning image.
I have taken all of the pictures on this website. Some were taken with 35mm film, although now entirely digital (SLR, compact and phone!). If you like them and think I could make your animals stand out from the crowd - contact me and I would be very happy to discuss your requirements.
