After our successful 2016 BAS National, we are back again at the BAS National in Telford at the International Centre. We go as Spring Farm Alpacas but we are Gold Sponsors of the BAS National this year alongside our partners in Suri Stud. Its our first time as gold sponsors and we are very proud to be so prominent at this, the alpaca industry’s National Show.
The event is on the 25th and 26th March and visitors are very welcome to visit although there is a nominal charge of £2 per adult or £5 per family – the donation of which is to Severn Hospice. We will be taking a show team of 7 – 6 suris and one huacaya. The event takes place over two days and starts with dark colours and greys on the first day and progresses through to whites and the Championships on the second day. There is also a fleece show where we have one entry – Lord Percy – in the Grey fleece category. Entries for the Show opened – and closed – on the 1st December 2016 with 560 alpacas entered and with a waiting list!
