Felting workshop – making Baby Alpacas

Come and learn a fun and therapeutic craft and use beautiful British Wool to make your very own needle felted character! This workshop – Baby Alpacas – is suitable for beginners or intermediate needle felters.  Each workshop has a different topic and is held on a Saturday on various dates. At lunchtime we have a special treat of meeting the “mums and babies” group of alpacas at feeding time, and they are just the cutest creatures you ever will meet!

The workshops are taught by Michelle Onderstall, a professional needle felting artist, through her business Fudge and Mabel.​

​Every workshop covers:

 

*preparation of the wool and traditional needle felting techniques

*materials, tools and safe use of felting needles.

*Wool/ Fibre rolling techniques and basic shapes.

*Stabbing’ techniques and learning how to sculpt your wool into a 3-D creation.

£55 per person – Includes lunch, tea/coffee, biscuits and as many cakes as you can eat!
