Valentine’s Day walk yesterday when the sun finall Valentine’s Day walk yesterday when the sun finally made an appearance! We dressed our walking boys up with their bow ties as it was a special day. They were really chuffed to go for the walk as the chopped carrots at the end were a bonus. With the cold wet conditions of last week (and nex With the cold wet conditions of last week (and next apparently) it may seem like Winter drags on forever…however, show our alpacas a bit of sun and the are sunbathing before you know it! In quiet corners of the farm, the first shoots of Spring are starting to emerge. We now have our first snowdrops and the early purple orchids and just starting to put on leaf. It’s only January but the queen bumble bees are also popping out onto our winter flowering heathers if the sun stays out for any time.
